I found this Wordle strategy that is fast and easy to use. I always make the same guess for my first four words, so I don’t have to stop and think about the clues. The magic happens on guess 5 and 6. I haven’t yet found a word I can’t solve with this strategy.
This strategy is great for speed and simplicity, and is very reliable. However, when using it you won’t often get the opportunity to solve words on guess 3 and 4.

18.09.2024I agree this is much easier. But incredibly boring and unsatisfying. Its basically a word scramble at this point. Even using different words every time, the majority of people get the word every day. But have the satisfaction of doing the detective work to solve the puzzle.

18.09.2024I have a similar strategy but use only 3 words for elimination before trying legit chances. I often solve in four and almost always finish by 5 guesses. The words are TRACE, LOINS, PUDGY (I used to use LIONS but saw that I is more likely to be in the third position). Sometimes I do need a 4th elimination word and will select from WHOMP, WOMBS, WHIFF,THUMB (such as "_OUND" and I have to eliminate W,F,H,B,M – or worse "_A_ES").
